Why should I?

"A number of reasons why : cloth nappies are very expensive in Vanuatu.......considering the basic wage is equivalent to approx $1.50 per hour AUD and of course that is if you are employed.......Cloth nappies , small towels etc are selling at a similar value to that of those in Australia
Some are buying disposable nappies but unfortunately this is often a problem with disposing of appropriately as in most countries. Also the temptation to continue using the same disposable nappy for hours on end leaves the child with nappy rashes, infection, etc.
A bonus for Vanuatu is there is generally a plentiful water supply so washing of cloth nappies does not pose a problem.
In third world countries I would think that the cost factor would have to be a driving force behind many choices made..........The fact that cloth nappies can often be handed down to others in need would have to be a big plus ! Conservation matters can be positively affected also.
